Even Easter Bunnies have bad days!  The Grumpy Easter Bunny,  a sweet story about a grumpy bunny who wants to keep all his Easter treats to himself, is great for having some Easter fun while teaching your littles not to be greedy.

It also offers lots of opportunities for educational fun.  Not making it up, some of the most awesome Easter activites we’ve ever done were inspired by Justine Korman’s adorable picture book.

Grumpy Easter Bunny Activities

Hopper is not excited about Easter. He’s tired of working all year making yummy treats only to have to hide them for kids. He wants all the candy for himself!  So he comes up with a plan to hide his wheelbarrow full of candy in his home. When he hears three kittens searching for his treats, he learns a lesson about sharing.

Language

Something about spring always makes me think adjectives. Or think IN adjectives. So print out this fun book for your kiddos to fill in the adjectives!

Science

Egg in a Bottle

This classic science project still wows kids of any age.  Watch a boiled egg get magically sucked into a bottle with a little help from air pressure.

This project should be performed by an adult.  Kids should not actively participate in lighting the fire.

How cool is that?  Once it was over, I wished I’d boiled several eggs just so I could watch it again.

I’m just sayin’, you might want to boil more than one egg.
